The University of Virginia’s College at Wise invites applications for an Operations Assistant in the Office of the Registrar.
This position will primarily be serving the office at the front window.
Excellent customer service and reception will be key for this position as well as providing administrative assistance to the Registrar.
Additional duties will include assisting in other processes as needed, entering schedule changes related to basic registration services, assisting with data entry, student information system coding - all as they relate the student record.
The Office of the Registrar has, as its central mission, the accuracy and integrity of the academic record.
The ability to speak and write professionally is an essential function of this position.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Candidates must have excellent and extensive customer service skills, proficient with Excel and Outlook, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, pay close attention to detail, have excellent problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, and be highly motivated.

Experience: One year of relevant or related experience
Microsoft Office Suite: Excellent to proficient
