Summary
An Electronic Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics.
The assembler will verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.
Essential Functions
Individual must be physically able to install electrical wiring and electronic components in all aspects of the production process.
Must be able to read and comprehend electrical diagrams/schematics and follow detailed work instructions.
Must possess electronic aptitude and ability.
Must be able to operate a variety of bench, hand and shop tools.
Individual must display a conscientious and safe work style.
Must be able to follow the direction of a Group Leader and also work as an individual or a team member as the work requires.
Read work orders and specifications to determine established assembly methods with strong attention to detail.
Proactive with problem solving skills to recognize a problem before the problems arise.
Follow all workplace safety standards.
Understanding of electronic process (s).
Ability to read, understand and interpret drawings.
Individual must be physically able to sort in all aspects of the process.

Competencies
Must possess the following skill sets: Proven experience as an electronic assembler; Work independently with minimal supervision; Attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to work in fast pace busy environment.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must have the ability to deal and solve problems involving several variables in standardized situations and be able to make decisions the most cost effective way with safety driven objectives.
Required Education and Experience
Action oriented person with Three (3) to Five (5) Years of verifiable successful experience as an Electronic Assembly technician.
High school diploma with Certified Electronic Technician preferred; One-year certificate from college or technical school to three (3) months to a year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills; Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals; Good math skills with analytical abilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a manufacturing environment.
