*Quality Control Inspector - Night Shift Position*
*Days/Hours are Sunday - Thursday - 10:00pm - 6:00am and must be available to work overtime if needed*
*Responsibilities*:
* Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of magnet wire products on the production floor
* Perform various quality tests on the product; manual and visual inspections; report all rejects as required
* Create and maintain files of Customer Test Certifications for all outgoing products
* Review daily reports, which provide information on product conformance to include statistical summaries, Hold List, Quality Alerts, & 24 Hour QA report
* Participate in measurement process for plant product qualifications
* Follow all established safety, health, procedures and recognized practices
* Report completed rework of defective products data according to established procedures
* Provide Operator & Inspector training for quality test methods and procedures
* Perform specified checks in accordance to Plant’s inspection plan
* Verify correct operation of in-line inspection devices
* Complete all reports and forms for product and process documentation.
* Communicate about quality with other shifts and departments verbally and through written documents according to established procedures
*Essential Skills:*
* Proven experience as a Quality Inspector
* Must be able to use micrometers and calipers
* Understanding of quality control procedures and processes
* Analytical skills
* Attention to detail
* Teamwork and communication skills
* Must be able to bend, lift, push, pull 50+ on a continuous basis
* Must be able to work 8 hour shifts; standing or walking entire shift
* High school diploma or equivalent
