Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work including framing, installation, and finishing.
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and materials required for the project.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and hardware.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts.
- Ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Carpenter.
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools.
Must have some of your own tools.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques.
- Experience with concrete forming and pouring.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from job sites.
Skills:
- Electrical knowledge for installing lighting fixtures and electrical outlets.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Experience in framing, decking, tile, flooring, drywall.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during remodeling projects.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and precise cuts.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
