Diesel mechanic/ trailer mechanic needed .
First off must be certified for annual inspections and write offs .
Must have at least 5 plus years verifiable experience.
Work description every day will be maintaining , greasing equipment , checking trucks as they come in and out daily , servicing trucks ( changing oil , filters , checking all fluids etc ) and trailers both , brakes , drums , disc brakes , slack adjusters , wheel seals etc .
We supply tools for larger jobs as in transmission’s, engines and lifts .
Otherwise you must be equipped with your own tools and lock box .
Their will be a specified work manual we use to run daily operations .
Shop you will be running and working will be a 2 bay 60 foot long and oil changing pit also available .
You will be required too keep a clean work environment and your shop clean as we follow osha guidelines .
Larger jobs will require , transmissions , clutches , rear ends , A/C work ! , engine rebuilds will be optional and be discuss upon interview .
This is a full time position , 40 to 55 hours weekly , we offer weeks paid vacation after one year employed , plus 5 paid sick days a year , insurance family plans or single insurance plans after 90 days .
Retirement matched packages available.
Work Uniforms will be supplied also .
With our Pay package , it will start in the 20s and that will be based on your history and your experience , college certificates is always a plus , but doesn’t make a person a great mechanic, I need someone that has had 1000s of hour over and under a truck , trailer , understand wiring schematics, need someone that work on Cat , Cummins , Detroit and possibly the MP8 Mack engines .
Engines is not a deal breaker , if you don’t have experience in rebuilding , doing injectors , setting overheads we can get around that .
But the other duties I need who ever I hire too be able to perform the other duties listed .
