Safely operate mobile equipment, such has yard loaders and perform routine maintenance and repairs, including cutting and welding in a limestone quarry mining operation.
Primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently operate large equipment, perform maintenance or repairs on all plant and mobile equipment.
Maintain computerized maintenance and repair records.
Use a hand shovel and operate a skid steer, front end loader, and water truck to clean around plant equipment and to maintain roadways and parking areas.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor; participate in safety inspections and plant safety program.
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
Must be safety conscious, dependable, motivated and possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
Physical abilities include being able to:
Lift up to 50lbs
Squat, stoop, and crouch to handle material
Walk on a continuous basis
Bend twist and turn frequently
Work in the extremes of the outside elements
