*Position Overview:*
The Field Service Technician position is a key role in the Lottery Services division responsible for delivering quality service and maintenance of lottery equipment at retailer locations.
The Field Service Technician performs routine equipment and systems maintenance, repairs, installation and delivery of supplies of lottery equipment and communication devices.
*Essential Functions:*
* Accurately diagnose problems or issues related to all components of lottery equipment, and ensure all issues are properly documented and reported in a timely manner
* Responsible for the accurate assembly and attachment of lottery equipment and components
* Responsible for the replacement and/or repair of defective lottery equipment parts
* Must be able to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, preventive maintenance and installation of lottery Point of Access (POA) equipment and communication devices used at the lottery retailer location
* Ensure adherence to company policies for the accurate confirmation, acceptance and closing of service calls using the automated dispatch system
* Responsible for the appropriate documentation of all service activity, according to site policy
* Responsible for the processing and accurate maintenance of stock and the documentation of equipment, parts and consumables inventory according to site policy
* Ensure any defective self-service equipment is properly packaged and prepared for shipment to the central repair facility in a timely manner
* Interface at basic level with third-party communication network provider to effectively troubleshoot communication problems at the lottery retailer location
* Ensure the accurate documentation of retailer installations, changes and equipment removals
* Produce various reports as required or requested by management
*Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements*
* High school diploma or GED
* Two (2) years of related experience, preferred
*Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities*
* Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills
* Superior customer service and relationship skills
* Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
* Must be able to operate a company vehicle (valid drivers license and clean driving record required)
* Basic computer skills required
*Physical Requirements and Working Environment*
* Must be able to carry and lift up to 50lbs.
* Must be able to maneuver in tight spaces to repair equipment, run cables, etc.
* Must be able to climb a ladder and safely perform related tasks
