```Duties```
- Assist carpenters with various tasks on construction sites
- Carry and set up materials and tools for carpentry projects
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Assist with framing, including wall framing, roof framing, and floor framing
- Help with the installation of doors, windows, and other fixtures
- Assist with the installation of cabinets, countertops, and other finished carpentry work
- Aid in the construction of concrete forms and pouring of concrete
- Assist with masonry work, including bricklaying and blocklaying
- Help with tile laying and grouting
- Perform heavy lifting as required for construction materials and equipment
- Use power tools and hand tools under the guidance of a carpenter
- Ensure worksite cleanliness and safety
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in carpentry or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of plastering techniques is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques is beneficial
- Capable of performing heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
- Basic understanding of masonry work is desirable
- Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow directions from a lead carpenter
- Knowledge of plumbing basics for assisting with plumbing installations is a bonus
- Experience with caulking and sealing is advantageous
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of carpentry
