Title: Evening Computer Technician (Part-Time/Temporary)

Salary: $15 hourly rate, up to 25 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 1:45pm-9:00pm
Job Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Client Services, the computer technician is primarily responsible for installing, upgrading, configuring, and troubleshooting computers, peripherals, and software.
Job Duties
Install, upgrade, configure, troubleshoot, and repair computers, peripherals, and software
Assist with installation, upgrade, and maintenance of computer network equipment and software
Assist end-users with technology issues
Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least six months paid work experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computers and related technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in Computer Technology or related field from an accredited institution
Professional experience in a higher education environment
Conversational ability or fluency in a second language
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Specific Technology Skills: Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Office Professional Desktop, Working knowledge of mobile device technologies, and cloud-based technologies.
General Technology Skills: MS suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately as well as accept supervisory input and constructive feedback
Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
Ability to frequently work in tight, elevated, and low spaces.
