Overview
Mavin Superintendents partner with a designated Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise new construction and remodeling of existing buildings.
They lead and oversee subcontractors, foreman and craft workers during the construction phases for designated projects to ensure that corporate, client and project goals are accomplished on time and within budget parameters.
Mavin Superintendents lead project teams onsite to ensure that jobs maintain the highest levels of safety, security and quality resulting in satisfied employees, subcontractors and clients.

Robust Knowledge of all phases of building construction, including work commonly done by subcontractors Ability to read blueprints and specifications and perform advanced layout including but not limited to building layout.
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate projects General knowledge and ability to use small tools Basic Knowledge of Different Contract Types OSHA 30 Certification Salaried Position Physical Requirements Able to lift 50 lbs Able to climb ladders Responsibilities: Note: the asterix (*) denotes tasks contingent upon scale of project General Utilize company-required management softwares Attend and participate fully in Internal Mavin Company meetings Quarterly Meetings Leadership + Team Development Meetings Maintains all issued company assets Tools Trucks (bi-annually detailing vehicle, service vehicle according to manufacturer recommendation) Ipad and Cellphone (ensure technology is in a proper case) Administrative Complete and scan Daily Job Reports Conduct weekly safety meetings and inspections Turn in credit card receipts monthly Record hours and other hourly personnel onsite Provide weekly written coordination schedules Coordinate manpower requirements with General Superintendent Ensure their project drawings are up-to-date and organized to reflect most current set Maintain a formal running issue log for project Complete all owner required paperwork Hot work permits Shutdown requests Daily Job Hazard Analysis Pre Construction Participate in RFP and Interview process as needed Participate with Project Manager in a subcontractor scope review * Participate in Kickoff Meeting with Project Manager Responsible for setting up jobsite including: Dumpster locations Toilet locations Secure Temporary Utilities (power, water, sewer) Temporary Fencing Office Trailer Location Construction Maintain a safe culture and job site Enforce and comply with all company and project-required safety policies and procedures Ensure all equipment and tools are properly operating and maintained Ensure all appropriate PPE is available for each respective task Ensure jobsite is clean and organized Establish benchmarks and ensure project is laid out correctly Open site and kick off workday with a daily plan Secure the jobsite at the end of each workday Sett alarms Lock doors and gates Turn off lights and equipment Manage sequence, safety, quality, compliance with project documents of activities of Mavin employees, subcontractors, material suppliers Coordinate with project team including any architects, engineers, testing agencies, inspection agencies, and owner representatives Issue Resolution Troubleshoot scheduling issues Proactively problem solve Lead and participate in subcontractor coordinator meetings and O/A/C Meetings (subject to project team's decision) Schedule applicable government agency inspections Manage a self-imposed punch list prior to OAC punchlist Additional Responsibilities/Possible Assignments: Obtain relevant certifications if required Assist with Construction specific hiring process including interviews and onboarding Train and mentor other Mavin employees Your Impact (Value + How You Make a Difference) Serves as a guide and on-site leader for internal team, subcontractors, vendors and clients from concept to completion.
