This position will perform fabrication of parts for Aeronautical Accessories manufacturing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this position are the following:
• Perform basic window and plastic fabrication under supervision
• Assist with 1st piece inspection and completion of work orders
• Identify and record parts and serial numbers for plastics and windows
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
• Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirements:
• High School or GED
Position Requirements:
• 0-2 years of experience related to job duties
Skills / Certifications:
• Ability to perform basic fabrication duties (i.
e.
sawing, sanding, trimming, routing, cleaning and bonding)
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and work instructions
• Familiarity and experience with basic measuring equipment
• Ability to operate forklift safely
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Forklift operation experience may be a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to wear all required PPE specific to job duties (may include respiratory equipment)
Ability to operate basic hand tools and departmental equipment safely and efficiently to perform assigned job duties
Ability to stand and sit stationary for several hours at a time
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis
Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles
