Landing Gear
Bring your experience and ideas and help us bring the highest quality products and service to our customers.
This role will be an integral part of the landing gear manufacturing team.
You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities through fabricating landing gear assemblies and components.
What you’ll be doing as a Skid Shoe Fabricator
Fabricate parts with close supervision using required tools and fixtures.
Demonstrate ability to use basic hand tools and understand safe and applicable uses to perform necessary tasks.
Demonstrate proficiency in assembling, drilling, countersinking, and riveting.
During the fabrication process, safely handle product and ensure own quality of work to include no damage to product.
Read and interpret manufacturing and Bell drawings.
Demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE.
Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
Skills You Bring To this Role
Ability to use basic hand tools safety and appropriately as required for performing specific job duties.
Read and understand work instructions and drawings.
Ability to read, interpret and follow work instructions and manufacturing drawings with assistance.
What you need to be successful
We are looking for inquisitive and driven fabricators with a passion for manufacturing.
High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of experience relevant to fabricating landing gear or similar job duties.
