Assembly Fabricator
This position will work our weekend shift (Fri, Sat, Sun) starting in Q3.
It will work Mon-Thurs 4x10 until that switch.
Bring your experience and ideas and help us bring the highest quality products and service to our customers.
This role will be an integral part of the manufacturing team.
You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities through performing assembly work for Aeronautical Accessories’ manufacturing department under general supervision.
What you’ll be doing as a Fabricator
Complete general assembly of manufacturing components.
Lay out parts to be produced.
Rivet, cut, saw, trim, bond, and use proseal.
Install heli-coils and other/various fasteners according to blueprints.
Accurately use measuring devices such as calipers, scales, torque wrench, tape measure.
Demonstrate consistent ability to perform most tasks with limited errors or rework.
Demonstrate safe work habits and wear proper PPE.
Learn and correctly apply knowledge of new tasks.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
Skills You Bring To this Role
Familiarity with basic measuring devices.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and work orders.
Bell Drawings, Measurements, Sheet Metal (Rivets), Torque, Safety Wire, Cotter Pins, Proseal.

What you need to be successful
High School Diploma or GED
0-2 years of experience relevant to job duties.
